The Job

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for CT Technologist, CT Technologist Trainees* who perform CT Exams. Technologists administer intravenous and oral contrast and observe patients for signs or symptoms of adverse reactions; complete all necessary paperwork; provide quality customer service and practice safety standards and radiation protection, while providing high quality images and examinations in a fast paced trauma center as part of a team of physicians and registered nurses. Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist Trainee Annual Salary: $73,694.40 - $98,820.80

CT Technologist Annual Salary: $88,462.40 - $121,721.60

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.

Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education. On-call Schedule: Incumbents scheduled to be on-call must be able to arrive to the hospital within 1 hour after receiving a call. Incumbents must indicate a willingness to accept and be able to arrive within 1 hour for assignments. Please refer to the MOU for additional details and compensation.

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must possess all of the following:

Certification:

• Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist
• CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health
• Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Venipuncture Certification for contrast media

Registration:

• Must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and in Computerized Tomography (CT)

Experience:

• Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist Trainee: No experience required
• CT Technologist: One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist -OR- Six (6) months of supervised Computerized Tomography (CT) clinical experience

Desired Qualifications

Candidates with experience performing CT scans in a trauma center are highly desired.
