Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and specialized imaging

• Work in unison with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver precise and high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing and reporting any technical issues
• Thoroughly document all procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
