About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred; open to first-time travelers License: State or multistate license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from AHA required Must-Have: Previous travel experience preferred; may consider candidates with less than 3 years of experience Description: Unit may float to the emergency room as needed. Immediate backfill is needed. Shifts will be from 6 AM to 6 PM. Expected to work in both emergency and medical surgical areas based on patient needs. The nursing ratio at most will be 5:1 but usually stays around 1:3. The unit utilizes licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. Support staff includes 2 nurses, 1 aide, and 1 secretary on the floor. Covid vaccine exemptions are accepted; flu vaccine is not required. The electronic medical record system used is Athena. There are no specific scrub color requirements.
