Meat Cutter Pt

Pay Range: $20.00- $25.00

SUMMARY

• Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers.
• Responsible for cutting all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of the meat products cut for display in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales.
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service and courtesy on an on-going basis.
• Must adhere to all corporate and state sanitation and safety procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Consistently work within to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Responsible for smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation at all times.
• Responsible for cutting and preparing meat using knives, saws, cubers and grinders.
• Responsible for ensuring proper wrapping, weighing and labeling of meat merchandise.
• Responsible for adhering to all corporate meat department procedures and standards. (i.e.: case layout and trim specifications)
• Responsible for adhering to proper sanitation and temperature guidelines ( i.e.: to include corporate and state inspection standards).
• Responsible for receiving all meat products delivered at store location (i.e.: DSD and warehouse deliveries).
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a cutting test.
• Satisfactory Performance Reviews.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic Literacy Skills Basic Computer skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

At least 6-12 months of related experience.
