Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated registered nurse with critical care experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing advanced care for patients experiencing severe medical issues such as heart attacks, strokes, shock, trauma, and respiratory distress. Below are the key responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
Treat wounds and provide advanced life support.
Assist physicians during procedures.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients.
Ensure the proper functioning of medical equipment, including ventilators and monitors.
Administer intravenous fluids and medications.
Perform suctioning as needed.
Collaborate with the critical care team to deliver optimal patient care.
Respond to life-threatening situations, adhering to nursing standards and protocols.
Act as a patient advocate and provide education and support to families.
Care for pre- and post-operative patients.
May take on roles as case managers, policy makers, or administrative duties.

Requirements

Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, & PALS/ENPC & TNCC (preferred but not required) through the American Heart Association.
Possess a valid RN license for the state of Wyoming or a multi-state compact RN license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an ICU setting within a hospital.
Ability to float between different campuses as needed, depending on patient census.
Willingness to occasionally care for pediatric and adolescent patients.
