What You Need To Know The Assembly Technician II is responsible for the assembly, disassembly, refurbishment, testing and packaging of topside controls & subsea equipment. What We Are Looking For Review, interpret, and apply engineering testing procedures. Use schematics and drawings to support production setup and execution. Assemble, disassemble, refurbish, and test subsea control modules, wellhead control panels, hydraulic power units, valves, and related equipment. Demonstrate a good understanding of hydraulic systems and the operation of hydraulic power units. Complete and maintain documentation as required. Notify the supervisor or QHSE Manager of quality or safety concerns. Maintain the cleanliness of assembly, disassembly, and test areas. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications / Skills & Experience Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Essential Minimum three (3) years of experience in the use of hydraulic power units (HPUs); knowledge of selecting and applying appropriate hoses, fittings, and hydraulic components for pressure testing and hydraulic applications. Experience assembling, flushing, and pressure testing hydraulic systems and piping, often up to 25,000 psi. Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring devices. Ability to interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs). Sound mechanical knowledge, including units of measurement and conversions, basic mathematics, and mechanics. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to set job priorities, exercise self-discipline, and remain motivated to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, and kneel regularly. Able to work in elevated work areas with proper PPE. Preferred One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with tube bending, routing, and installation, including the proper tightening and assembly of tubing and fittings. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
