Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who is passionate about providing counseling services to support individuals’ physical, mental, cognitive, and emotional adjustment through recovery. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations, assessing the social, emotional and support needs of the patients and their families. Set measurable objectives in collaboration with the rehab team. Assist the physician and other health team members in understanding significant social and emotional factors related to the patient’s health problems. Instruct and counsel patients and families to cope with the social and emotional responses associated with illnesses. Participate in care coordination activities and act as a resource to other health team members in identifying and resolving patient needs. Identify and assist patients and/or families to utilize appropriate community resources to achieve measurable objectives. Benefits Flexible schedule created by you. Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensure in the state of practice. Minimum of one year of experience in a rehabilitation setting serving individuals with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, or acute diagnosis. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) First Aid and CPR certification. Ability to lift 50 pounds; additional ability to lift up to 100 pounds following safety procedures. Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods.
