Critical Care Registered Nurse | Montclair, California

Schedule:

• Weekend availability required

Qualifications:

• Active and valid RN license in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• At least one year of recent acute care hospital experience as a staff RN, with direct work in a critical care/ICU setting
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification is a plus
• COVID vaccination and booster preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective patient care in the ICU using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate activities of nursing personnel, providing guidance for patient/family teaching
• Maintain the highest standards of care for assigned patients, upholding patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding clinical changes, hemodynamic status, lab results, and patient response
• Respond swiftly and accurately to shifts in patient condition, ensuring prompt intervention and documentation
