The Associate Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for the completion of set processes and protocols. Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, deliver excellent customer service and adhere to Lean processes. Supports the teams in meeting financial, clinical and service goals.Schedule: This is a full-time position, 10-hour shifts, 4-days per week in between the days of Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 7:00PM. Supervisor will determine the schedule.Location: 4475 S Eastern, Las Vegas, NVPrimary Responsibilities:Responsible for greeting patients upon arrival and checking patients into departmentEnsure demographics including insurance information are correct in APM, updates both as necessarySchedule appointments as necessaryEnter charges correctly and collect appropriate paymentsAnswer phones and take messages or route incoming calls as per company policyDocument all calls and messages appropriately according to company policyResponsible for waiting room management and implementation of efficient customer-friendly processesWork with clinical team staff to ensure smooth patient flowCommunicate with clinical / clerical personnel about service issues and complaintsAssist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areas for coverage needsAnswers phone, takes messages and routes calls appropriatelyAdhere to the standards identified in the Employee Policy ManualCooperate with other employees to achieve specific team goalsCompletes other duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
