Quality Engineer I

Entry-level quality engineering position focused on ensuring medical device products meet established standards through inspection, testing, and audit activities. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to implement quality objectives at a global medical technology company.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures, specifications, and quality standards for products and manufacturing processes
• Create and execute corrective and preventative action plans
• Collect and analyze data for gauge and product performance evaluation
• Identify critical personnel, equipment, procedures, and materials for new product development
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure capability to deliver quality products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with quality engineer certification
• Team collaboration and relationship-building across departments and external partners
• Strong oral and written communication skills at multiple organizational levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, QSR/ISO regulations, FMEA, and product testing
• Experience with optical comparators and CMMs
• CQE certification and orthopedic/medical device industry experience preferred

Compensation: $64,000-$80,000 USD annually
