Key Qualifications:

• Certified to teach secondary mathematics
• Experience teaching Algebra 1 and Pre-Calculus at the high school level
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners
• Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and parents
• Previous general education teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate learning for high school students in Algebra 1 and Pre-Calculus
• Develop lesson plans and classroom activities focused on student achievement
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies and tools to reach different learning styles
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to guide improvement
• Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in team meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate records related to attendance, grades, and student performance
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that supports all learners

This role consists of a consistent weekday schedule totaling 35 hours per week in a supportive, collaborative school environment. You’ll work closely with high school students, helping them build the mathematical skills they need for college and beyond.
