What You'll Do As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform everyday activities following illness, injury, or disability. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans that enhance patients' quality of life. Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Canadian Occupational Therapist registration/licensure Eligible for (or willing to obtain) U.S. state Occupational Therapy licensure Eligible for (or willing to obtain) a VisaScreen Certificate, if required Strong communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills Passion for helping patients achieve greater independence and quality of life New graduates are encouraged to apply.
