Part-Time BookkeeperPart-Time Bookkeeper$45,000 – $49,000Location: Miamisburg, OhioPosition Type: Part-Time (Flexible schedule, approx. 20-24 hours per week)Position Summary: The Part-Time Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and preparing general journal entries. The ideal candidate will be experienced in small business bookkeeping, organized, and comfortable working independently.Key Responsibilities:Process and record all accounts payable transactions (vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, etc.)Generate and send customer invoices; manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding paymentsPrepare, post, and reconcile journal entries in the general ledgerMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial recordsAssist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresCommunicate with vendors, clients, and team members regarding financial transactions as neededSupport the organization with other basic accounting functions as assignedQualifications:Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting roleSolid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge a plus)Proficiency with accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAssociate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
