Speech Language Pathologist

SLP Job Description Responsibilities Provide evaluations, assessments and ongoing therapy for children 3 years and up. Develop individualized plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Provide one‑on‑one family sessions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Advocate for patient needs in various settings such as schools or workplaces. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy. Be open to flexible schedules as needed for service provision to families. Be available for hybrid services, in person and virtual. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech Language Therapy. Meet all prescribed professional requirements and rules of professional conduct as a Speech Language Pathologist including certifications and/or licensures. Completion of the AzEIP Standards of Practice for Early Interventionists within three years of a start date is required. Must be able to complete a successful background check and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Feeding experience is a plus, but not required. Bilingual English/Spanish skills is a plus, but not required. Skills Ability to handle workload and travel to client’s homes. Ability to build rapport with patients. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership qualities. Must have basic computer skills, including word processing. Must have excellent and professional written and verbal forms of expression, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
