Job Details Location: Beatrice, NE 68310 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Any Overview The Production Manager organizes and oversees the manufacturing of nationally branded meat products. You will ultimately be responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. Ability to direct team members towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements. Responsibilities Collaborate with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements Oversee plant production line workers with an emphasis on teamwork, safety, and excellent practices to produce the highest quality products Oversee and coordinate food production activities, planning work schedules, and assignments to meet production goals Set clear expectations and goals for team members Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production team members Communicate effectively with team members and other management Enforce compliance to company rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe and fair working environment for plant workers Critically monitor and review the daily line performance and make improvements or adjustments as needed Other duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a manager Extensive knowledge of production management Understanding of quality standards and food safety regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to uphold regulatory, company, and customer standards Ability to coach and motivate employees Sufficient written communication and reading skills Ability to operate or to quickly learn equipment Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to follow directions Ability to assess products for quality compliance Work Environment & Physical Demands Noise level is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area – earplugs are required Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the shift, using repetitive motion Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds across the plant for various needs Spends time in cold environments Must have good hand/eye coordination #J-18808-Ljbffr Landmark Snacks Group
