Fulfillment Supervisor

Job Summary To coach and otherwise guide a team of employees to achieve optimum levels of productivity, quality and safety while meeting operational deadlines and budgets. This typically includes recruiting, hiring, training, and ensuring that all employees receive necessary instruction and development. Key Accountabilities Meet all production and distribution objectives and deadlines within the established budget. Teach, coach and demonstrate work activities for team members. Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary functions. Coordinate, assign, and review work. Direct staff on priority of work to be accomplished. Ensure all team members receive required instruction in safety procedures, proper use of equipment, performance standards, disciplinary processes and other workplace and Company policies, procedures and practices. Maintain timely, effective, and professional communications with all internal and external customers and suppliers. Perform effective record keeping, filing and other administrative duties as required. Report any accidents or incidents that occur within the designated facility. Accident or incident reports must be completed immediately and forwarded to the Operations Manager within 24 hours. Monitor working conditions regularly to ensure the safety of all team members and take timely corrective action as required. Apply problem‑solving techniques to ensure all personnel and quality issues are resolved in a timely manner (e.g., 8D, 5‑Why, Kaizen). Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Plant Manager. Work directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery. Meet TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies. Qualifications Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills. Interpersonal skills to communicate with plant manager, sales staff, and warehouse personnel. Ability to understand equipment and tolerances from past experience and successful past performance. Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring. Demonstrated leadership and team‑building skills. Knowledge of metals handling, staging, processing, packaging and shipping (preferred). First aid and CPR training (preferred). Exposure to labor relations, safety programs, ISO standards, lean practices and sales functions (preferred). Safety mindset. Preferred Requirements Bachelor's degree. 2–3 years previous supervisory experience in a related field. Safety Sensitive Position This position is identified as safety sensitive by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws. Successful completion of pre‑employment drug testing, including testing for marijuana if required, is required. Compensation Compensation up to $55k based on experience.
