Job Summary

The Maintenance Associate supports maintenance, shop, and oilfield-support operations by assisting with the inspection, maintenance, preparation, and repair of equipment. Working under the direct supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician, the Maintenance Associate performs assigned maintenance activities while developing the skills and competencies necessary to work independently.

Job Description

• Support daily maintenance, shop, and equipment preparation operations.
• Perform assigned maintenance activities under the direct supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician.
  
• Assist with the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and preparation of equipment in accordance with established maintenance programs and operational requirements.
  
• Help ensure equipment is maintained and available for on-time delivery in response to customer and operational demand.
  
• Follow established safety procedures, work instructions, company policies, and applicable industry standards.
  
• Work through a structured mentor program until qualified to perform assigned duties independently.
  
• Participate in company-provided training, certifications, and competency development programs.
  
• Accurately document maintenance activities and related information in applicable company systems.
  
• Maintain transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems and ensure maintenance-related data is captured accurately.
  
• Comply with applicable company, division, and TLM maintenance standards.
  
• Build and maintain competency in accordance with the TLM Competency Management System.
  
• Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance efficiency, productivity, equipment reliability, asset availability, and cost of service delivery.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  
• Follow proper procedures when using tools, equipment, forklifts, cranes, and other shop equipment, as applicable.
  
• Maintain high standards of attendance, job performance, safety compliance, and teamwork.
  
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills Required

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record.
• Ability and willingness to learn new skills, procedures, and processes.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.
• Stable employment history.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively under direct supervision while developing the skills required for independent work.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding shop and oilfield-support environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, manufacturing, maintenance, industrial, or oilfield environment.
• Forklift experience and/or certification.
• Crane operation experience.
• General knowledge of industrial tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.
• Previous mechanical or equipment-related experience.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance or work-order systems.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Pay Rate

• $17 - $18 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
