Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of rehabilitative programs designed to restore or improve function in activities of daily living, functional mobility, cognitive tasks, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Assist the supervising occupational therapist in assessing, planning, and implementing patient-centered therapy interventions.
- Monitor and document patient progress, noting changes and communicating updates to the care team to inform discharge planning.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory standards and facility policies; uphold safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, optimize outcomes, and ensure smooth transitions between care settings.
- Promote patient engagement and independence through evidence-based activities and precise documentation.

Requirements
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential; active license or eligibility to practice in Georgia
- Graduate of an accredited OTA program (AA/AS) or equivalent
- Experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse patient needs and clinical timelines
