- PRECISION - Know how to keep track of every detail to enhance the quality of the product.
- MATERIAL KNOWLEDGE - Understanding of various materials and how to produce a final product.
- STRONG TOOL KNOWLEGE - Behind every successful upholsterer is a strong knowledge of the tools and equipment used to create our quality products.
- FURNITURE CONSTRUCTION KNOWLEDGE - the ability to disassemble and reassemble furniture pieces efficiently and make modifications when necessary.
- STRONG WORK ETHIC - If you are a dedicated upholsterer who's passionate about what they do, then you will be very successful!
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A UPHOLSTERER:
- Review drawings for the product to be constructed.
- Ability to optimize fabric when cutting.
- Ability to use hand tools, such as hand router, staple gun to finish the product.
- Ability to create a new pattern.
