Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and extensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging findings and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative support that includes preparing surgical spaces and ensuring optimal patient positioning while efficiently handing off instruments
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, planning for discharge, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant institution
• Strong preference for those with surgical-oriented clinical rotations completed

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is required
