Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, providing health teaching, health counseling, and supportive therapy to promote patient well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; Bachelors degree preferred); BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS certification; NIH certification; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, including experience in an intermediate care setting, or as specified; location in Colorado if applicable
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions, evaluate health status, administer therapies, provide patient education, and document care in accordance with regulatory guidelines. The role may require being placed on-call during scheduled shifts to ensure continuous patient care.
