This is a great foot-in-the-door opportunity for someone who loves helping people, thrives in a team environment, and wants to grow in the physical therapy or healthcare space.
- Setting up and supporting physical therapy treatments: things like hot/cold packs, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and traction under therapist direction
- Prepping treatment rooms, escorting patients, and making sure everything is clean, stocked, and ready to go
- Scheduling appointments and managing a busy phone line (yes, you'll get good at multitasking)
- Assisting with classes like Better Balance and Lymphedema; coordinating logistics and helping things run smoothly
- Documenting patient feedback and treatment notes accurately
- Being the friendly face that makes patients feel at ease when they walk through the door
What we're looking for
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable using a computer — scheduling software experience is a plus
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- In-Hospital experience is mandatory
- Strong communicator who stays calm when things get busy
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with patients and goes the extra mile
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
