Market Manager - Food & Beverage - Midwest

Essential Functions: Direct responsibility for Profit and Loss / Growth of Food and Beverage business within the defined region. Compiles reports for Director of Food & Beverage and Senior Director who shares with VP - Sales, VP - Business Development and General Sales Managers across the USA evaluating Food and Beverage Market performance. Responsible for market forecasting, strategic plan for growth, monitors and reports on market penetration. Trains, monitors and motivates the Territory Managers, Architectural Design & Engineering Reps and Area Managers to promote and sell into the Food and Beverage Market. Responsible for National and Regional Accounts in the Region - could include main lead for Key Accounts. Handle the key relationships for Food and Beverage accounts, Architectural Design and Engineering firms, and Design Build firms, along with Specialty Contractors in the region. Minimum Requirements: 4+ years’ industry experience in similar sales, design, or equivalent role. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication, presentation, organization and planning skills. Must be very flexible and able to work in a self-directed, rapidly changing environment. Has the ability to organize and prioritize activities. Must be computer literate with experience using technology and customer relationship management software (Salesforce.com), and Microsoft 365. Valid Driver’s License Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to physically transport sample case and literature to customers (approximately 40 lbs. weight) Must possess reliable transportation (driving time in a typical day – 30% This position requires wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toed boots, high-visibility vest, and depending on the task, may also require ear protection, respirators, safety harnesses, and specialized protective clothing, while on the worksite.
