Structural Steel MIG Welder–Fitter Why this role?
Looking for reliable 2nd-shift work with room to advance? Our growing Easton manufacturer needs production-minded welders/fabricators who can transform blueprints into quality steel assemblies—and enjoy a three-day weekend, every weekend.
What’s the schedule?- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday
- Work-life balance: Built-in 3-day weekend
- Pay: Up to $24.00/hour to start
- Increase: $24.00/hour once hired
- Union track: Union membership after 90 days with full benefits
- Health: Comprehensive medical coverage
- Retirement: 401(k) match up to 3% + profit sharing
- PTO: Up to 4 weeks paid vacation and 10 paid holidays

- Safety: Reimbursement for prescription safety glasses and safety shoes

- Read and interpret blueprints to weld, tack, and fit parts
- Cut, grind, weld, and restore corroded or damaged steel
- Execute MIG and spot welding for production
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and fabrication techniques
- Demonstrated skill in MIG welding with hand and power tools
- Ability to perform measurements and calculations (basic math)
- Construction-site experience preferred
- Familiarity with sheet metal and multiple weld processes (FCAW, TIG, Stick)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and capability to read schematics
- Troubleshooting skills
- Tape measure accuracy
- Setting up welding operations for production runs
- Blueprint reading
