Summary Food Safety & Quality Assurance Associate – protect product integrity, monitor production processes, and maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards. Detail‑oriented, safety‑driven individuals are encouraged to join us. Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensure products meet internal and customer specifications and take appropriate action when a non‑compliance is noted. Accurately conduct product reviews for compliance, including grading, packaging, and weights. Perform and record quality checks on products and regulatory checks as specified by company programs and USDA regulations. Monitor associates’ work practices, address deficiencies immediately, and continually evaluate potential for foreign material contamination in assigned work areas. Inspect equipment for cleanliness and proper working conditions prior to startup and record findings. Minimum Education And Experience High School diploma or equivalent. 1‑2 years of work experience. Good communication (both oral and written) and math skills. Preferred Education And Experience Experience in food quality and/or safety. Physical Requirements And Environmental Factors Exposure to wet and moist floors, metal and plastic grating surfaces. Temperatures ranging 28°F to 100°F with 0–100% humidity. Product handling temperatures 25°F to 50°F. Noise ranges 50 dB to 110 dB. Dust and chemical exposure typical in food processing facilities. Required protective and safety equipment usage per Company direction. Occasional exposure to CO₂ vapors (10 ppm) and chlorine ( Ability to stand for several hours; lifts up to 50 lb, reaches, bends, pushes boxes on conveyor assembly.
