About the Position
TransForce is seeking an experienced Class B CDL Driver with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for a full-time opportunity supporting local P&D (Pick-Up and Delivery) operations throughout the Central Illinois region . This position offers competitive pay, steady weekday hours, and year-round work for safety-minded professionals who are comfortable with a physically demanding role.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour
- Consistent Monday–Friday schedule
- 9:30 AM start, 8–10 hours per day
- Home daily
- Full-time, dedicated opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Perform local pick-up and delivery (P&D) operations with an average of 12–16 stops per day
- Load and unload freight using manual pallet jacks
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain DOT compliance and follow all safety procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
- Minimum of 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Ability to perform heavy-touch freight duties and repetitive loading and unloading activities
- Forklift experience is helpful but not required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
