Academic Pediatric (Medical) Psychologist / Rank Dependent On Qualifications Overview The Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Utah seeks a full‑time Academic Pediatric (Medical) Psychologist to join our clinician‑educator and researcher faculty. The role involves direct patient care in the University Development Assessment Clinics (UDAC), education of future health care providers, research, and advocacy for children with developmental concerns and medical complexity. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in UDAC, including the Child Development Clinic, Neonatal Follow‑up Program, and Heart Center Neurodevelopmental Program. Educate future health care providers (students, residents, and fellows). Conduct research related to pediatric developmental and behavioral health. Engage in advocacy initiatives for children with special health care needs and medical complexity. Participate in quality improvement projects within the Division. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology from an accredited program. Completed at least one year of post‑licensure clinical experience. Experience in teaching and quality improvement projects is preferred. Commitment to translational or basic research in pediatric developmental psychology.
