Job Summary:
An Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Truckee, California. The role involves working in a fast-paced surgical environment with diverse cases including orthopedics, urology, general surgery, ENT, and gynecology. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers a variable shift schedule with 10-hour days, with minimum weekly hours of 40, and includes a call requirement.

Job Details:

• Location: Truckee, California
• Shifts: Variable, 4/10 shifts, not specific days, includes call
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; minimum 3 years of OR experience; California RN license; experience with EPIC electronic charting system
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is helpful
• Responsibilities include circulating only (preferred to also scrub), assisting in a variety of surgical cases such as orthopedic, total joints, trauma, gynecology, ENT, and general surgery; experience with GI endoscopy useful but not mandatory
• Other Information: Must work efficiently in a very fast-paced OR environment; orientation includes a day for paperwork and IT training; the hospital offers an orientation period
