Since inception, the firm has acquired and sold over 120 projects in its target markets.Interstate Equities Corporation is seeking to expand its Analyst team. As an integral member of our team, Analysts should expect a generalist approach. The primary responsibilities include supporting the firms' acquisitions, dispositions, capital formation and investor relations efforts. Working closely with senior executives and other team members, Analysts are encouraged to assume increasing responsibility. The role will be based in our San Francisco office.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the acquisition process through detailed operational budgeting, assessing market comparable and financial modelingPreparing investment memorandums for internal and Investment Committee briefingsAssisting with new business development, including prospecting research, development of specialized marketing materials such as pitch books and tear sheetsSupporting the investor relations function, database management and maintaining investor recordsPerforming financial analysis, supporting asset performance tracking and quarterly reporting for private equity fundsFund Roll-ups, portfolio return projections, and equity forecastingIn this role you will underwrite a significant number of assets for potential acquisitionRequirements0-2 years of professional experiencePassion for Real Estate, previous industry experience in real estate, private equity, investment banking or investment management a plusAttention to detail is critical, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyDesire to work in a small team environmentSense of urgency, with a strong curiosity to learnBe coachable and open to constructive feedbackExceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in developing and maintaining complex financial modelsAdvanced MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, understanding of Yardi and CoStar is a plusEducationB.S.
