Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant Location: 100% Remote (Preference for candidates located in the Northeastern U.S.) Travel: Occasional travel to client site in Boston, MA, as required Job Type: Contract Duration: 5 Months (Potential Extension) Start Date: July 13, 2026 Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant to lead a high-profile Oracle Cloud Financials implementation for a large enterprise client. This is a client-facing functional consulting role requiring deep expertise across Oracle Fusion Financials modules, business process transformation, solution design, and data conversion strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations, facilitating client workshops, designing future-state business processes, and delivering enterprise-scale financial transformation initiatives. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting teams in both the United States and Ireland. Candidates must be flexible to accommodate cross-time-zone collaboration when required. Required Skills 8+ years of experience implementing Oracle Cloud Financials. Extensive hands-on functional expertise with: Oracle Fusion General Ledger (GL) Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable (AP) Oracle Fusion Accounts Receivable (AR) Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets (FA) Oracle Fusion Projects Oracle Fusion Cash Management Oracle Financial Reporting Proven experience leading end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementations. Strong expertise in business process analysis, fit-gap analysis, and future-state solution design. Experience configuring Oracle Fusion Financials applications. Strong knowledge of enterprise financial processes and accounting best practices. Expertise in legacy data mapping, migration planning, and data conversion strategy. Experience defining functional requirements for integrations and data conversion. Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience facilitating business workshops and gathering functional requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead Oracle Fusion Financials implementation activities from discovery through solution design and configuration. Analyze current-state business processes and conduct fit-gap assessments. Design optimized future-state business processes aligned with Oracle Cloud Financials best practices. Create detailed functional design documentation and solution specifications. Develop enterprise data conversion strategies, including legacy data mapping and migration planning. Define functional specifications for integrations and data conversion activities. Prepare configuration documentation and support Oracle Cloud application setup. Facilitate client workshops, gather business requirements, and provide functional consulting throughout the implementation lifecycle. Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leadership to ensure successful project delivery. Support testing, validation, issue resolution, and deployment activities.
