Field Service Technician 2

Road Mechanic Road mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to avoid downtime. The fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. Responsibilities Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment. Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management. Work with a safety‑focused team. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired. 3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty line equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age; CDL license may be required in some locations). Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals. Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals. Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment. May need to provide mechanic's tools of trade. Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs. Physical Demands Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Starting rate may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.
