Job Title: Application Engineer (Rockwell Studio Logix) Location: St George, SC 29477 Pay Rate: $81-$91/hour (W2 – No Benefits) Duration: 6-Month Contract Shift: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility during commissioning | Mon – Fri Make an Impact Where Engineering Meets Innovation We’re looking for a hands‑on Application Engineer with deep expertise in Rockwell PLCs and Studio 5000 to support cutting‑edge building automation and facility management systems. This is a high‑visibility, on‑site role where you’ll work directly with clients, lead commissioning efforts, and bring complex systems to life. What You’ll Do: Design and develop control programs for BMS (Building Management Systems) using function blocks, scripting, and graphical tools. Build and enhance Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation) applications. Lead on‑site commissioning , startup, and system validation. Troubleshoot PLCs, field devices, and control systems during checkout. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver successful implementations. Create intuitive graphical interfaces for end users. Develop simulation tools and execute test scripts for system validation. Perform QA/QC checks on PLC and SCADA code before delivery. Deliver training sessions and provide post‑deployment support. What You Bring: Must‑Have Skills: Strong expertise in Rockwell PLCs & Studio 5000 . Proven commissioning experience with client‑facing responsibilities. Solid background in PLC programming & industrial automation . Knowledge of HVAC systems (highly preferred / niche skill). Nice to Have: OSHA 10 Certification (preferred due to electrical environment). Your Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field. 4+ years of experience in Industrial Controls / Automation .
