Pediatric Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

Location: Durango, CO
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Compensation: $45.00 – $60.00 / hour (Depending on experience)

In this role, you will work with a diverse pediatric population, design creative treatment plans, and support families in a welcoming, collaborative outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for infants, children, and adolescents with orthopedic, neurological, and developmental delays.
• Develop and implement individualized, play-based treatment plans in an outpatient clinic setting .
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active (or eligible) Physical Therapist license in the state of Colorado.
• Experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred but new graduates will be considered.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on habilitation and rehabilitation
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical independence
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Record and document patient care services
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related field
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Time management and organization a must!
