PRN TECH - PHARMACY

The Pharmacy Technician , under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and within all regulatory rules governing pharmaceutical services, provides for complete pharmaceutical services to the facility.

Position Schedule: Every third weekend from 8:00am - 5:00pm and PRN as needed

Education/Training:

* High School graduate, or equivalent.

* Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

* Current Pharmacy technician registration

* Current Tennessee Driver's License

* Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred.

Experience:

* Previous experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred. A working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.

* Previous experience with MedDispnse preferred.
