.NET Developer

Description: Apex Systems is seeking a dedicated C# Application Developer/Analyst who can perform analysis, design and development for crash reporting system application.


Under general direction, this position would be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing on thedesignated project ensuring that the goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and requirements.This role requires strong background in .NET, C#, API development, and enterprise integrations, with specific experience with crash reporting solutions and PAR MMUCC. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive and forward-thinking developer who can take ownership of projects and lead technical initiatives. This role requires the ability to independently drive solutions, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the advancement of modern development practices. This person must have excellent relationship building skills. Skills necessary are using MVC pattern with MSF C#.NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and XML.This person must be able to perform Process Flow Analysis.


Requirements:

• Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science orTechnical degree in Computer Science/Software Development(or equivalent combination of education and minimum 7+ year's web/software development experience).
• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • .NET Framework/.NET Core/ASP.NET
  • C#
  • ASP.NET MVC and/or Web API development
  • ADO.NET /Entity Framework
  • XML and XSD Schemas (Altova XMLSpy or oXygen XML Developer is a plus)
  • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular and or React.js
  • Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL.
  • SQL (Structured Query Language).
  • Experience with using Azure DEVOPS (or similar tools)
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Experiences working in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong understanding of full-stack development (front-end, middle-tier, back-end)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Explore and gain a thorough understanding of the business
  • Perform analysis and document process flows.
  • Capture business requirements and assist with design and development.
  • Use best practices and coding standards for a project
  • Implement fixes based on findings of Quality Assurance Analysts

Preferred Sills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with SSRS reporting
• Experience with SSIS
• Knowledge of GIS data and mapping capabilities for integration

• Key Responsibilities:

oDesign, develop, test, and maintain .NET-based web applications

oBuild and support integrations and API-based solutions

oDevelop and consume APIs and web services

oDevelop XSD and XML integrations

oCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements

oTranslate requirements into technical designs and solutions

oParticipate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews)

oEnsure adherence to coding standards, security, and best practices

oTroubleshoot and enhance application

oSupport deployment

• Education Requirements:

oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field OR

oEquivalent combination of education and 7+ years of relevant experience

• Additional Requirements:

oTemporarily hybrid: position will transition to 100% onsite in Lincoln, NE

oMust have reliable attendance

oMust be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
