Electricity Technology Developer

We are seeking an Electricity Technology Developer for a prominent technology company located in Fremont, CA. This role involves the development of cutting-edge power electronics, AC/DC systems, high-power conversion platforms, and advanced infrastructure solutions for various applications including EV charging and data center power.

Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Conversion, or a related field.

Qualified North American candidates may be eligible for relocation assistance, and visa support options such as H1B transfer, TN, and Green Card sponsorship are available.

The position requires up to 25% travel, including international trips to Europe and Asia.

This is a role focused on innovation, prototyping, and solving intricate high-power engineering challenges on a large scale.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and assess high-power power conversion systems
  • Contribute to advanced R&D projects and prototype development
  • Conduct efficiency optimization, thermal analysis, and system validation
  • Lead lab testing, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting
  • Translate customer needs into engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with global R&D teams
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with high-voltage power systems
  • Strong background in lab validation and system optimization
  • Ability to work on advanced development projects
  • Interest in customer-focused problem-solving

  • Salary range: $180K–$200K
  • 20% bonus potential
