Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Join a collaborative surgical team at Walton Hospital, performing over 4,000 procedures annually in four fully equipped ORs. As a Level III Trauma Center and Pathway to Excellence designated facility, we provide 24/7 patient‑centered care, including urgent and emergent cases. Our cross‑trained staff supports services such as orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, robotic procedures, bariatrics, gynecology, podiatry, and endoscopy, with staffing aligned to AORN standards for safety and quality. The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining practice standards and coordinating care activities. Qualifications include a nursing program graduation (bachelors preferred), RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS certification, and various specialty certifications as applicable. New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is preferred. Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and others may be required depending on the specialty area.
