Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Position requires experience as an OR Surgical Tech. Neuro experience, kidney transplant, and C-section experience are essential. This is a night shift position, working 4x10-hour shifts from 21:00 to 07:30. No call is required. Charge experience is required. Experience in floating within the hospital is expected. Candidates should be experienced in Ortho, General, GYN, URO, and Plastics cases. Experience with Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, and Vascular is a plus. The environment is busy with high acuity cases. Average daily surgical census is 50-75. Candidates must have experience with various surgical procedures, including minimally invasive techniques. The unit is a Magnet, teaching center setting with 637 staff beds. Scrubs are provided for OR personnel. Charting is done using EPIC. Candidates will be expected to manage a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Further requirements include participation in a holiday obligation of 1 shift and 1 call shift if applicable.
