Quality Inspector

Details: Contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role 1st shift position (candidate will need to occasionally work 2nd shift requirements as needed) Pay Rate: $29.00/hr. with benefit inclusions Visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future Job Summary The Quality Inspector I performs inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role supports manufacturing operations by identifying quality issues, documenting inspection results, investigating defects, and collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of components, weldments, assemblies, and finished products. Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Identify, document, and help resolve nonconforming products through corrective and preventive actions. Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation within quality systems. Support root cause investigations, quality improvements, and process audits. Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings with production, engineering, and quality teams. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Years Of Experience And Education High School Diploma, GED, NCRC, or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements. Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or assembly environments preferred. Experience with quality management systems such as SAP or similar platforms preferred.
