Roles & Specializations Needed

We are looking for versatile professionals to fill the following roles. Please identify your primary expertise when applying:

• Structural Welder
• • Focuses on fabricating the framework for buildings, bridges, and heavy equipment using heavy-gauge plates and beams.
  • Typical Work: Carbon steel I-beams, C-channels, and angle iron; often requires mastery of 3G and 4G positions.
• Combo Welder (TIG & MIG)
• • A versatile role requiring proficiency in multiple processes to join both ferrous and non-ferrous metals with high precision.
  • Typical Work: Stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel piping or pressure vessels using MIG (GMAW) for speed and TIG (GTAW) for clean, x-ray quality welds.
• SubArc (SAW) Welder
• • Operates mechanized welding systems where the arc is submerged under a layer of granular flux, ideal for long, continuous high-deposition welds.
  • Typical Work: Large diameter cylinders, tank longitudinal seams, and heavy plate fabrication, primarily in the 1G (flat) position.
• Certified Welder / Fitter
• • A dual-threat role responsible for reading complex blueprints to tack-up and align parts before performing final code-compliant welds.
  • Typical Work: Custom industrial components and assemblies; requires expertise in Stick (SMAW) and MIG across all positions (1G through 4G ).

Required Technical Skills

Candidates must be prepared to pass a weld test in one or more of the following:

• MIG (GMAW): High-production welding on carbon and stainless steel.
• TIG (GTAW): Precision welding, often on aluminum and thin-gauge alloys.
• Stick (SMAW): Heavy-duty outdoor or structural welding using E7018 or E6010 electrodes.
• Positions: * 1G/2G: Flat and horizontal groove welding.
• • 4G: Overhead groove welding (required for structural certification).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial welding experience or metal processing service center
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Proficiency with shop tools (grinders, torches, plasma cutters).
• Current or previous AWS/ASME certifications preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and PPE requirements.
