We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a fast-paced engineering environment in South Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing order-related activity, and resolving service concerns with accuracy and care. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries across phone and chat channels while helping ensure smooth order processing and timely follow-up.

Responsibilities:
• Provide customer assistance through online chat and telephone communication, delivering timely and attentive responses to questions and service needs.
• Review and process order-related information with accuracy, including entering customer requests and updating records as needed.
• Investigate and resolve pricing concerns by coordinating details, verifying information, and communicating outcomes clearly to customers.
• Address order issues such as mismatches, changes, or missing details to help maintain a smooth customer experience.
• Support daily order activity by monitoring open items, responding to requests, and helping keep transactions moving efficiently.
• Send confirmations and follow-up communication related to customer orders to ensure expectations are clear and documented.• Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and strong attention to customer needs.
• Experience with order entry and order management tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written communication skills for responding to customers through online chat and email-style messaging.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and resolve problems with accuracy and urgency.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer requests and priorities throughout the day.
