Logistics/Office Assistant

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN KLK OLEO AMERICAS INC. , located in Woodbury, New York.

Job Summary

The Logistics Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the supply chain by coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery to customers or internal departments
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouse staff to resolve issues
  • Prepare shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and delivery orders
  • Monitor warehouse stock levels and ensure re-stock shipment are sent from the plant to the US
  • Assist with vetting new Forwarders or 3PLs for onboarding
  • Assist in getting new customer setup in SAP

Job Success Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelors degree preferred)
  • Previous experience in logistics or Supply Chain is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Outlook)
  • Understanding of SAP and how to navigate the system
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
