POSITION SUMMARY:

At Mangoni, our Bartenders are more than just drink makers — they are hosts of the bar experience. The Bartender is responsible for crafting a wide range of beverages with accuracy and consistency, engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, and creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and energetic.

This role requires strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, as well as the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bartenders also maintain a clean, organized bar area, handle cash and POS transactions, and support the overall service team.

By combining technical skill with genuine hospitality, the Bartender helps ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service at the bar.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and in accordance with recipes and standards.
• Create classic cocktails and specialty drinks with speed, accuracy, and presentation in mind.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, and equipment.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Take guest orders accurately, enter them into the POS system, and process payments.
• Monitor guest experience at the bar, anticipating needs and providing recommendations when appropriate.
• Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred. (not required)
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine (or willingness to learn quickly).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol.
• Strong attention to detail, especially in drink preparation and presentation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Commitment to responsible alcohol service and compliance with all state/local laws.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Pay Range: $17 - $30 based on previous experience
