BAR MANAGER / ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER | IMPERIAL ROOM

Imperial Room is coming to The Star in Frisco , and we’re looking for a Bar Manager / Assistant General Manager who wants more than just another management job.

We want someone who wants to help build a bar.

Imperial Room is the newest concept from PILF Restaurant Group, the restaurant group behind Cane Rosso, Zoli’s NY Pizza, Thunderbird Pies, and more. This intimate craft cocktail lounge is all about elevated drinks, genuine hospitality, great music, and creating the kind of place where guests come in for one cocktail...and somehow stay for three.

And because we’re brand new, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the culture, develop the team, establish the standards, build a regular following, and put your fingerprints on Imperial Room from the very beginning.

If you know cocktails, know people, and know how to run a great bar, we need to talk.

Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday

OWN THE BAR

This is your baby.

You’ll take ownership of Imperial Room’s day-to-day bar operations and make sure every cocktail leaving the bar is something we’re proud to serve.

You’ll:

• Maintain killer standards for cocktail execution, presentation, consistency, and speed
• Coach bartenders and cocktail servers on recipes, technique, product knowledge, and hospitality
• Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and ready to rock
• Manage liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory, and par levels
• Monitor beverage costs, waste, spills, comps, and overall cost controls
• Maintain responsible alcohol service and TABC standards
• Jump behind the bar when the team needs you

You should know the difference between making a drink and creating a cocktail experience.

No managing from the office.

We want a leader who is behind the bar, on the floor, talking to guests, coaching the team, and setting the pace.

OWN THE EXPERIENCE

Great cocktails get people through the door.

Great hospitality gets them to come back.

You’ll help own the entire Imperial Room experience, including the things guests notice and the things they don’t realize they notice.

That means:

• Building relationships with regulars
• Making first-time guests feel like insiders
• Reading the room and supporting your team during busy service
• Handling guest concerns confidently and turning misses into wins
• Maintaining cleanliness, music, lighting, presentation, service, and overall atmosphere
• Making sure the room feels elevated, energetic, welcoming, and never pretentious

You’re not just running a bar.

You’re helping create the vibe.

AND SOMETIMES... PIZZA

Imperial Room shares its home with Cane Rosso Frisco, so this role is a little different from your typical Bar Manager position.

While Imperial Room will be your primary focus, you’ll also serve as an  Assistant General Manager supporting Cane Rosso Frisco when needed.

That could mean:

• Helping lead a busy restaurant shift
• Supporting the FOH team
• Handling guest recovery
• Jumping in when another leader needs backup
• Supporting opening and closing procedures
• Helping both concepts operate as one strong team

Basically, no imaginary wall exists between “your side” and “their side.”

YOU MIGHT BE OUR PERSON IF...

• You have 2+ years of restaurant or bar management experience
• Craft cocktails are actually your thing
• You’ve led bartenders and cocktail servers in a full-service, craft cocktail, or upscale bar environment
• You understand liquor inventory, ordering, beverage costs, and bar controls
• You can explain the "why" behind a cocktail instead of just memorizing the recipe
• You’re a hospitality-first leader who genuinely enjoys interacting with guests
• You know how to coach people without sucking the energy out of the room
• You can lead a slammed Saturday night without losing your mind
• You understand that elevated service doesn’t have to mean stuffy service
• You’re comfortable jumping behind the bar, onto the floor, or next door into Cane Rosso when needed
• Experience with Aloha/NCR, OpenTable Guest Center, R365, or Pulse is a bonus
• You’re available Wednesday through Sunday, including nights and weekends
