People Function Business Partner, Transfusion

Overview Job Summary As a critical member of the People Function team, the People Function Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor and consultant to the business, directly partnering with leaders to shape the evolving organization, build leadership capability, and drive strategic people initiatives that enable growth and transformation. The People Function Business Partner will lead people strategies across all aspects of the employee lifecycle - from organizational design to talent development - while navigating an environment where processes are still being built and harmonized. The ideal candidate thrives in complexity, builds trust quickly, and balances enterprise thinking with hands-on execution. Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Strategic Business Partnership & Organizational Impact Partner closely with senior leadership to align people strategies with business goals. Act as a thought partner to the leaders, contributing to organizational evolution, talent priorities, and workforce planning. Serve as a culture enabler, modeling and reinforcing Werfen's values and leadership expectations. Talent, Leadership & Development Lead end-to-end talent management processes including succession planning, development planning, and performance management. Coach leaders and managers to build capability, increase self-awareness, and improve team effectiveness. Identify talent gaps and implement local development programs to accelerate growth. Operational Excellence & Program Delivery Ensure successful execution of core HR processes including compensation, engagement surveys, performance cycles, and life cycle management. Lead the delivery and local implementation of global People Function programs. Drive continuous improvement across HR practices, seeking opportunities to increase impact and reduce complexity. Organizational Design & Change Leadership Support organizational design initiatives to optimize team structures, clarify accountabilities, and enable long-term growth. Lead and support change management initiatives that align people, systems, and processes with evolving business needs. Bring a transformational mindset and strong communication skills to help guide the business through ambiguity. People Analytics & Workforce Insights Leverage data and insights to inform people strategies, identify trends, and proactively address risks or opportunities. Collaborate with peers to drive data-informed decision making. Team Leadership Manage and develop at least one direct report; foster a culture of growth, inclusion, and accountability. Networking/Key relationships Local and global People Function colleagues (Barcelona HQ and North America) Transfusion BU Leadership Team and specific client groups Finance, IT, Communications, Compliance, Legal and other enabling functions Other departments as necessary Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline; 10 or more years of experience in applicable areas, including HR Generalist, HR Business Partnering, Leadership/Training & Development, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, and Consulting. Experience managing people and leading teams preferred. Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement. Skills & Capabilities: Strong business acumen and ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders Proven track record in talent development, organizational design, and change leadership Skilled in implementing HR programs and navigating ambiguity with a continuous improvement and growth mindset Excellent communicator and relationship builder across all levels of the organization Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with limited structure Team-oriented, flexible, high initiative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
