Maintenance Safety Coordinator

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Safety Coordinator to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in York, SC .

Job Summary:

Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Your proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance will ensure that equipment operates smoothly and meets applicable codes and standards.

• Team Support and Training: By instructing and coaching others, you'll foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.

• Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in continuous improvement activities and TPM teams will drive enhancements in quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

• Coordinate all safety-related activities for the maintenance department.

• Ensure maintenance work complies with all safety standards

• Coordinate Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities

• Coordinate contractor onboarding and safety orientation.

• Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments before major maintenance work

Base Rate: $30.50 - $37.07/hr
