Job Title: Pharmacy Clerk Address: Cheektowaga, NY Job Description Fill prescription requests accurately and efficiently in an automated refill setting. Prepare, package, sort, and distribute medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Maintain continuous workflow to meet daily production goals and work productively independently or in a team. Read computer generated screens to verify information and replenish medication as needed. Demonstrate problem resolution skills and maintain focus with acute attention to detail. Understand and comply with federal and state HIPAA laws to ensure patient safety and privacy. Pack and ship prescriptions with 100% accuracy using established procedures. Critical Information Onsite position with mandatory overtime based on business needs. Shift: Sunday 2pm-10:30pm, Tuesday-Thursday 6pm-10:30pm, Friday 2pm-10:30pm. Education/Licenses Needed High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Pharmacy Tech degree preferred but not required in NYS.
