Job Overview WM is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience Uniforms, PPE and specialty equipment provided Paid training program and career advancement support Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability Company match on 401K, Stock Purchase Plan Paid vacation, holidays and personal days Hours & Location Monday – Friday, 2nd Shift: 11:00 am – 7:30 pm (stable hours) Key Responsibilities Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and perform repairs on balers, conveyors, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and facility equipment. Maintain Daily Equipment Inspection backlog and adjust work procedures to meet production schedules. Inspect and evaluate third‑party repairs, recommending improvements to enhance equipment performance. Respond to emergency breakdown service calls with minimal supervision. Manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. Keep work areas clean and compliant with OSHA and company safety rules. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience. Must be over 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States. Ability to perform required physical tasks (lifting >50 lb, climbing ladders, standing on concrete, etc.). Pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination. Physical Demands Use motor coordination with arms, hands, fingers and legs; perform pushing, pulling, bending and lifting. Work from ladders or raised platforms; stand/operate on concrete floors most of the workday.
