Direct Support Professional (Day Program)

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Newton, NJ. Salary: Starting at $20.42 per hour, increases with education/experience. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4pm. Responsibilities Ensure the safety and well‑being of individuals while attending the day program. Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving daily living skill goals such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping. Plan, implement, and document programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals. Plan and participate in community‑based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings for individuals. Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid, non‑provisional driver’s license. Minimum age 18 years. Availability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
