Wound Care RN (BSN)

Location: Charleston, SC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care RN (BSN) to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive wound care to a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' wounds and associated conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Utilize advanced wound care techniques and therapies to promote healing.
• Educate patients and families on proper wound care and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in wound care as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required.
• WOCN certification required (continence certification not necessary).
• South Carolina RN license preferred; candidates with pending licenses will be considered if proof of application is provided.
